Volunteer Opportunities

Board of Directors

Habitat for Humanity Sarnia/Lambton operates under the direction of a Board of Directors comprised of professional dedicated men and women committed to the Habitat mission and cause.  Our Board is both a governance Board and an operational Board. That means that our Board not only oversees the governing of our affiliate, but each of our Directors is plays an active role as Chair of one of the working Committees that helps us do what we do.

There are currently no openings on our Board of Directors

Special Events Volunteer

We completely get that not everyone wants to work on a Committee and that some folks just want to help out in a small way at a fun event. If that describes you, know that we believe that many hands make light work. If you are interested in helping out, you can get as involved as your busy schedule allows. We will appreciate any help you can provide.

If you are interested in helping out at one of our events, contact the Executive Director, Sarah Reaume, at the affiliate offices.

Administration

Do you like office work? Answering the telephone? Are you creative with an interest in designing newsletters or brochures? Would you like to write articles for a newsletter? Are you particularly good with the computer and adept at working with databases like Access?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, we could sure use your help. Call or drop into our offices and talk to our Volunteer Coordinator Kim Racher about how you can help.
