Thieves continue to frustrate Habitat for Humanity Sarnia/Lambton
Please call tips in to Sarnia Police or CrimeStoppers

Five people have been arrested in connection to a string of thefts from Habitat for Humanity Sarnia/Lambton's ReStore property.  A video released by Sarnia Police last month shows at least twelve people in hoodies, hats and balaclavas stealing items donated after hours, e-waste materials and scrap metal recycling.  None of the five arrested so far are connected to the theft from our Construction Trailer in June, when two thieves made away with nearly $8000 worth of hand and power tools.  Sadly, these thefts continue.

If you have any information about these or other thefts, please contact Sarnia Police at 519-344-8861 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Back by popular demand...WomenBuild!
Don't miss your opportunity to build!

In the summer of 2014, 15 teams of women from all across Lambton County came together to build a home in Petrolia.  These teams of women not only raised more than $50,000 for the project, they also undertook all aspects fo the building of the home that didn't require skilled contractors.  Amazing effort!  Wonderful outcome!  And tons of fun!

Even before the 2014 project was complete, we were flooded with inquiries as to when the next WomenBuild would be!  Well, the wait is over!  Book your team's space now!  We will break ground in the spring of 2016.  Contact Heather Roberts, Fund Development & Community Engagement Coordinator for more details!
