Wrapping up WomenBuild & Lambton Builds projects

Please join us as we celebrate the completion of two more homes!  We will be hosting a Dedication Ceremony at 772 - 774 Devine St. on Monday, October 31, at 11:30 a.m.  Meet our corporate, community and construction partners, our volunteers and, of course, the families! Five volunteers from Winnipeg, Manitoba opened Habitat for Humanity’s first ever ReStore in 1991. Today, there are almost 100 locations in Canada and over 1,000 worldwide raising funds to enable families to partner with Habitat and access affordable homeownership.  Come into the ReStore from October 17 through October 31 and help us celebrate ReStore's 25th anniversary!  Swiffer will donate $1 to Habitat for Humanity for every ReStore purchase made until October 31. To boot, you’ll get a free Swiffer Duster while supplies last.

The Meaning of "Home" Contest

September 30, 2016 - Sarnia, ON

Running from October 3 through November 30, the Genworth Canada Meaning of Home Writing Contest encourages students in grades 4, 5 and 6 to explore what "home" means to them and put it in an original composition.  Essays, poems and even video submissions are welcome!  There are prizes for the winning entry and the runners-up.  For every eligible submission received by November 30, Genworth Canada will donate $10 to Habitat for Humanity Canada!  Ask your teachers and principal if your school in participating!  More details available here.
